You may not be using it in a bedroom. Perhaps you work from home and need an office where the temperature is slightly lower than hell to get any work done. You need real refrigeration to lower the temperature in any room. How much is a good nights sleep worth to you? Perhaps we could ask – what would it potentially cost if you fell asleep on the way to work, because your room was far to hot to sleep in last night? If you were sitting on the train then probably nothing. People fall asleep all the time. If you were driving the train then I would say you’re in trouble. Get an air con and please stay awake, at least on the Penrith line.

You need a comfortable temperature to get to sleep. You need sleep to function correctly. If you don’t function correctly, results can be unpredictable. Do yourself a favour and get the smallest air conditioner supplied and installed complete for $1750.

Some customers call up and ask for their air con to be regassed, thinking it’s a bit like a car. The reason cars need regasing regularly is because those pipes are run using rubber to allow for all the vibrations in the car. Permanent fixed air conditioners are piped using copper, so the joins should be gas tight and permanent. If we do our job properly then you won’t need to regas your air con.
