Not difficult to follow. Look at the pretty picture. All the different installs are exampled here. The inside head maybe side on to the wall with pipes exiting through at right angle. It may be back to back. The most common install is back to back, but all sorts of things are possible. The faded orange lines represent the paths taken by pipes and duct between evaporator and condenser. Head and base.
Our installers aren’t on commission. Where possible we always stick to original phone quoted price. If you have an extra metre or two they guys aren’t going to sting you extra this extra that. If the length get’s out to 4 or 5m extra then we will need to cover our costs and tell you before any work goes ahead. Bottom line is, you can see here what yours will cost before anything happens. No surprises with us. We even come on the correct day. Usually.

The house you see opposite is only an example. You would never need that many split system air conditioners installed in one home. As a general rule : you would be very comfortable all year round using only a 7kw in the living area and a 2.5kw in the master bedroom. The overlap in air circulation would give a pleasant temperature in most other areas, into places you may not expect. A decent nights sleep in summer is most important to me so perhaps start with the bedroom. Then the main area and Bob’s now your aunty. Those two sizes will be totally adequate for 90% of Australian homes.
A good brand and a good installation will give you 10 + summers without breaking a sweat (inside).
