Best brand of Air Con will ALWAYS be one of these
As of 2018 not much seperates these brands. We like Panasonic. Best air filters and running costs
Best brand of air con for 2018 is split between these top 3
Best brand of Air Con for 2018? Year after year we try seperate these three. Truth is very little seperates them in terms of quality. This year one is better – next year its the other. The MHI have slightly smaller head units which will fit in places others won’t. The Panasonic have better air filters and running costs. The Daikins are like the rolls royce of air cons but the price difference is substantial. We don’t beleive there’s that much more value or quality to reflect the huge jump in price. For our money again this year we would install the Panasonic if given the choice.
In the event we had to have one of the other two, complaining wouldn’t be heard. Many people out there are without AC this summer so if it keeps us cool and keeps power prices low, that’s really the main objective one would think. For those two considerations, any of these will keep you happy this Summer. The ones below will too, but the running costs will be a little higher. The motor noise might be a fraction louder All the little things add up.
Nobody would beleive Kelvinator is among the best brand of air con for 2018. We didn’t
Not the best brand of Air Con but better than a warm house
Mark Taylor reckons they’re good
Killer robots aren’t far off
Pretty good for the price
Not as heavy as the heavy ones
Least this row’s not all Japanese
The brands above will keep you cool, won’t cost the earth and should last a fair while. None of them have any serious faults or problems we are aware of. Fujitsu probably deserve another shot at being in the top tier, but after their r32 gas problems a few years back that cost me an arm and a leg when I had very few limbs to spare, I am not quite ready to forgive them. Perhaps if I were to be given a cruise around Hawaii or Iceland with butler and cabin near the croquet court, it might have some effect on our rankings for next year Mr Fujitsu.. ahem ahem cough. Please. Better still, I could send the wife and with any luck they’ll hit an iceberg.
Here at air conditioning expert we’re independant in our appraisals of the best brand of air con for this year. Mostly because nobody has tried to bribe us yet so feel free any manufacturer reading this. Please, make us an offer. We could use a new TV from Toshiba, maybe a fridge would be nice from Samsung. And Hitachi. Hey can I get one of them great big earth movers so I can drive around doing killdozer on weekends? So, please take notes and when your bribes are ready use the contact form on the last page. As of 2018 however this page is sadly 100% bribe free. But not by choice. We’re just not worth bribing at this stage.
The reader can be sure the information here is accurate.
Not just because no bribes came our way this year. We’ll tell you straight because having to return to jobs for warranty calls cost us money and makes us look bad. We don’t like getting those calls. We will always come back for sure, but if there’s a way we can blame a manufaturer rather than our perfect installation techniques, we will. As it stands about half the warranty calls we get are our own fault, on a hot day mistakes can be made. It’s rare, still less than 2 per 100 installs on average but it happens.
We do more installations than any company that we know about in Queensland, and would be among the highest number overall in Australia. For that reason just through sheer numbers and experience, any fault in a system from the factory is picked up by us. We don’t want to come back to a warranty at your house. We will if we have to but best thing is to avoid it in the first instance and use one of the top brands above. The second choice would be the second row and if you want another brand we’re kinda busy that day maybe try someone else. :D
